HUSQVARNA 353 saws can have different bar and chain configurations. The model name and 18-inch bar length alone do not confirm fit. This chain requires .325-inch pitch, 1.5mm gauge and exactly 72 drive links; it is not a replacement for a 3/8-inch-pitch chain.
Check the guide-bar markings, chain gauge and drive-link count. The pitch must match the saw's drive sprocket and the bar's nose sprocket, where fitted, and the gauge must match the bar groove. Follow your saw manufacturer's fitting, tensioning and maintenance instructions.
