2-stroke oil for garden equipment

Two-stroke engine oil is mixed with petrol to lubricate compatible engines. Not every machine in these categories uses a 2-stroke engine, so check its handbook before use.

2-stroke oil vs chainsaw chain oil

These oils do different jobs. 2-stroke engine oil is mixed with petrol where the engine requires it. Bar and chain oil goes into a chainsaw’s separate oil reservoir to lubricate its guide bar and chain. Rotatech also offers biodegradable chain oil for that purpose.
