Had a day getting through a back log of branches and a few heft trunks. Having got a better idea how it works, no jams today all went smoothly, but do not stand inline with the feed shut, as it is liable to, eject the end of the feed piece at the speed of a rocket. Intend to make a flat pusher to eliminate this danger and keep the feed in reasonable contact with the cutter knife. Very impressed with it’s performance.

Certainly chips branches, the feed Shute is to wide, as you get near the end of branch allow it to fall to a horizontal position, this frequently allows it to fall between cutter and anvil causing machine to stall. To clear it means undoing two nylock nuts, which should be replaced by thumb nuts and hinged studs, as it is a labourous procedure. As it happens frequently. Be better with puncture proof tyres. The hand book is dismal, just a well supplied a toilet roll, as it tells you nothing useful,

The chipper arrived safely and very quickly. Put the ancillary bits on and awaiting an electrician to do the plug. Can’t wait to get chipping!

Would not recommend this chipper unfortunately it you have to have a electrician wire ín a specific plug but due to it being 20 volt you can not buy a extension lead In the UK. Rotatec have been very unhelpful and have been stuck with a useless machine for two months now. Would imagine if any parts broke there would be no back up

Would not recommend one of these chippers as it requires an election to wire in a separate plug as it does not run on UK voltage and you also can not buy a extension lead to fit the socket in the UK
Have tried to attain a refund but can not get a reply and would worry if anything broke on the machine the company would offer no back up. Not a plug in electric chipper as marketed. Very disappointing customer service
